Description:
The Project consists of the construction of approximately 4020 lineal feet of 10’ asphalt multi-purpose trail around Birky Pond on Heartland Community College’s Raab Road campus. Ancillary erosion control, drainage, sidewalk improvements, and pavement markings are also included. A 22 ½ foot prefabricated pedestrian bridge is included. The project also consists of various landscape features including fishing ramps, an outdoor classroom, shelter areas, a bird watching stations and native plantings.
